The pandemic only challenged the company to open new avenues to wow audiences. Working close with Warner Bros, Disney, and Universal, the company has successfully envisioned fan experiences in exciting new ways. The company creating these enticing visuals is Experiential Supply Co, who are no strangers to creating imaginative oversized sets. This on-foot variant of their drive-thru experience is a nice pivot into outdoor activity. Sugar Rush is brought to you from the same innovators of the popular drive-thru Hauntoween LA and WonderLAnd. If you’re bringing your kids you can also opt to have a go at their swings, or embrace your inner child and have a-go on the swings anyways. There is the choice of enjoying your candy on the brightly inviting yellow picnic tables, or challening your friends/family to giant checkers. You have several choices ahead of you for what to do next. Our journey took us to Gumdrop Park where a complimentary bag of candy awaited us. At night, the park takes on a new look as the installations light your way through each art display. Our tread through Majestic Grove lead us into a tunnel filled with mirrors. Our favorite was stepping into Art Pop Lane for a run around giant lollipops and a chance to sit next to a life size neon kangaroo. When traveling through Sugar Rush you can expect to experience six different themed installations. Each bright corridor leads to a themed, colorful set design built with large floats, interactive inflatable tube men and magical performers with whimsical costumes and a knack for knowing your favorite candy. A complete Candytropolis with over 40,000 square feet (just under a half mile) of colorful visuals and dancing sugar fairies, Sugar Rush offers a walk-through experience into a land made for your imagination. Families, small groups and pet friendly, it appeals to a variety of candy dreamers. With over 2 million lights, no matter the age, you will be impressed.Open air, photo ops and sweets, Sugar Rush tickles the fancy of any inner child. The kids (and adults) are sure to enjoy the sugar plum fairies, gingerbread village, candy canes, and light tunnels. Weeknight tickets are $35 Weekend and Holiday tickets are $45.Tickets are per car (limos, RVs, and busses are not allowed).Give the kids a heads up that there is a special guest waiting to hear about their Christmas lists about 1/2 way through the experience. It’s important to note when you exit the display you go straight onto Hwy 41 and there is no time or place to buckle little ones into car seats, so make sure those that get out can get back in on their own. Let the kids look at the windows/sunroof – only if they can buckle back up themselves! We let our two kids get out of their seats so they could get closer out of the windows. Once in the light display, tune your radio to the station displayed as the music is synced with the light show.Once you arrive, pull up your e-ticket to ensure you are ready to enter (we arrived 10 minutes after the gates opened and had to wait about 15 minutes total until we were ready to enter the display as they ensure cars are spaced accordingly).Grab a snack (we opted for Chick-fil-a milkshakes to pair nicely with the Candy Rush theme) on your way to the White Water parking lot where the display is taking place. Here are some highlights and tips from our trip on opening night: The one-mile long drive-thru experience is fun for all ages. Marietta is home to the world’s largest drive-thru light display this holiday season and it is a must-do for the family! Candy Rush presented by World of Illumination is a socially distanced, fun, and safe way to experience the magic of the season!
